Location: LANG ACADEMY, Schlosserstraße 6, 51789 Lindlar
First part – 4K technical training
4K, HDMI2.0, HDCP, HDR
Second part – Workshops
MX2-8×8-HDMI20 demo
The HDMI2.0 demonstration will be about using 4K@60p 4:4:4 over HDMI2.0 in rental applications. This includes sources, signal processing, output and recording.
The topic will be general knowledge about HDMI2.0 and HDCP related issues. Also there will be some practical examples on how to use existing HDMI1.4 infrastructure and equipment with HDMI2.0 4K@60p signals.
Furthermore, we would like to show you the Lightware HDMI2.0 switching and extension products in use and have an open conversation about further needs or feedbacks.
25G demo
The 25G workshop will showcase the capabilities and possibilities of this multi-layer matrix and how it could be a suitable solution for large scale mission critical control rooms and centralized AV distribution systems. The workshop will consist of a technical overview of the features and modularity of the 25G architecture including what security is provided for reliability, redundancy and what diagnostic tools are available for these centralized solutions.
Over the live working 25G system we will go through the key points of the HDBaseT and fiber optical extension included.
Meeting room solutions – MMX6x2 & Event Master demo
The system demonstrates a small/medium meeting room with 4K signal handling and some automation features using the Event Master.
There are HDBaseT transmitters and a matrix for video switching. The automation setup allows for switching the light, rolling the motorized projector screen up and down and switching the video on the screens, based on specific conditions. These conditions may be the detection of a laptop connecting to the HDBaseT transmitter or pressing a button on an IR remote control.
We will demonstrate the functionalities of the LDC software like TPS cable diagnostics, Frame Detector, EDID Management and how to set up the Event Master.
